  • Centennial Olympic Park provides 21 acres of lush, green space in the heart of downtown Atlanta.
  • Park beautification projects educate the public about landscaping and green initiatives.
  • Recycled toilet paper and paper towels as well as green seal certified cleaning products are used in all public restrooms. 
  • Park administration office recycles paper goods, plastics, glass, aluminum and electronics.
  • Park administration office also uses 100% recycled copier paper and all publications are printed on recycled paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
  • Park operations staff uses battery-powered carts.
  • Park uses compostable, 100% recycled paper and plastic bags for merchandise with environmentally friendly, 100% recyclable ink.
  • Public safety patrols the Park primarily on bicycles.
  • Bike racks stationed around the perimeter of the Park encourage eco-friendly transportation. The Park is also within convenient walking distance of three MARTA stations, Peachtree Center, Five Points and Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center.
  • Park recycles for events exceeding 1500 attendees and offers private events composting for food waste upon request.
  • A well and cistern are used to irrigate the landscape and maintain ornamental water features, which double as holding tanks for the well water.
  • Visitor Center restrooms utilize water-efficient features made of recycled content
